Essential Items:
- Bed linens (Twin XL sheets) or sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Blanket
- Bath towels
- Toiletries – shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, personal care products
- Clothing
- Friday: Casual, summer clothing – shirts, shorts, jeans/long pants, etc
- Saturday: Casual, summer clothing – HOBY shirt (provided), shorts, jeans/long pants, sneakers or other closed-toe shoes
- Sunday: Nice dress attire – Such as:
- Skirts, dresses or dress pants
- Dress pants and collard shirt or polo
- Jacket, sweatshirt or other long sleeve shirts
- Comfortable shoes
- Umbrella and/or rain coat
- Water bottle
- Backpack/personal bag
- Prescription Medication (if applicable)
- OTC medication as needed
- Health Insurance Card
- Small amount of spending money (optional – for our Iowa HOBY Store available during the weekend)
- $25 room key deposit, cash or check made out to Iowa HOBY due at Check-In
Prescription and OTC Medication:
If applicable, be sure to bring any prescription and/or OTC medication. Please bring only as much medication as will reasonably be needed during the HOBY event (3 days). Prescription medication must be in its original container as labeled by the pharmacy. Please refer to the Policy for Use of Medication During a HOBY Event included in the Health and Safety section.
